My Story
I am a certified breathwork coach and a practitioner of conscious breathing since 2019.
Breathing is the first human autonomic function to be triggered from when we are born, It continues automatically without conscious thought, providing our lungs with the air necessary for our bodies to function and survive
Unfortunately, for the majority of people any knowledge of the breath ends right there! The way most people breathe is habitual, and bad breathing habits can have a major impact on our health.
How we breathe often mirrors our well being, how we feel at a given time, whether we are feeling stressed and anxious or whether we are feeling calm and relaxed.
We have the ability to consciously change the way we breathe in order to control the way we react to certain situations and challenges!
Did you know that the way we breathe has a big impact on how we digest our food, on how well the nutrients from our food are delivered to the cells and our vital organs? And ultimately on how well we feel. Have you heard the expression “you are what you eat”? No, you are what you digest!
The way we breathe also affects the body's ability to prevent the entry of pathogens and toxins and their removal from the body.
In my breath coaching workshops I will show you how to take control of your breath, to implement better breathing habits and how to use the way you breathe to help remove the detrimental effects of stress, anxiety and tension, the causes of certain illnesses and diseases.
