My story

 

My name is Marieke de Wever , born in The Netherlands  and I am a  qualified foot reflexologist

I combine two ways of practicing reflexology ; the western system  plus the chinese  system which made it more interesting because I learned more techniques to work with.  

 Before I moved to Spain I had my footreflexology practice in the Netherlands for 19 years.

Reflexology is commonly known as a holistic practice performed on the feet.It is a ancient therapy which can be traced as far back as 2330 B.C.

The concept is that there are areas on the feet, called zones,  that correspond with all organs in the body. By massaging the feet , I massage the body, muscles bones and its organs This leads to reducing stress and bringing balance to the body, energy, and mind ; homeostasis , the start of the body to heal itself. This is the western way of footreflexology

The Traditional Chinese Medicine has a different approach of lokking at health and is focused on prevention of getting physical/met=ntal problems. The treatments consists of working on reflexzones, meridians ans acupuncture points. 

Foot reflexology helps the body to find it’s balance between all the different systems like the nervous system, blood circulation, gastro-brain system, it helps  the body to heal itself , because it is stimulated to let go off toxines.

Foot reflexology can help with high blood pressure , headaches, migraine, problems with sleeping, problems with digestion, depression, neck,- back,- or shoulderproblems and hormonal problems and during pregnancy

After a session , which  takes about an hour,  you’ll feel relaxed and vitalized and your body will detox the following days.   

Next  to foot reflexology I give neck/shoulder chair massages based on Tuina massage which I learned in Bejing, while I was there to visit several hospitals which work according to the Traditional Chinese

Medicine. I have 2 degrees in Reiki according to the Usui system.                              

 

Mi nombre es Marieke De wever, soy reflexologa podal titulada. 

Empece' mi estudio de reflexologia podal en 1997 con una formacion de 2 años y despues empece' un nuevo estudio de reflexologia podal en un segundo instituto llamado Total Health  ( Total Health EU) que combina dos maniera de praticar la reflexologia el sistema occidental mas el sistema chino que lo hizo mas interesante porque aprendi mas tecnicas para trabajar. ante de mudarme a España tuve mi consulta de reflexologia podal en Holanda durante 19 años.

la reflexologia se conoce comunemente come una pratica Holistica realizada en los pies, es una terapia antigua que se remonta al año 2330 ante de cristo .

el concepto es que hay puntos en los pies , llamados zonas , que se corresponden con todos los organos del cuerpo . al masajar los pies, masajeo el cuerpo los muscolos los huesos y los organos. esto reduce el estres y equilibra el curpo la enrgia y la mente; homeostasis. 

Homeostasis , el inicio del cuerpo para curarse a si mismo. esta es la forma occidental de la reflexologia podal.

El metodo chino tiene un enfoque diferente de la salud y se centra en la prevencion de problemas fisicos y mentales. los tratamentos consisten en trabajar con meridianos y puntos de acupuntura.

La reflexologia podal aiuda al cuerpo a encontrar su equilibrio entre todos los diferentes sistemas como el sistema nervioso, circulacion sanguineas, sistema gastro- cerebral, aiuda al cuerpo a curarse a si mismo, porque es estimulado a liberarse de toxinas, el inicio del cuerpo para curarse a si mismo. 

la reflexologia podal puede aiudar con la presion arterial alta, dolore de cabeza, migrañas, problema para dormir, problema digestivos, depresion, problemas de cuello, espalda, hombros, problemas hormonales y durante el embarazo.

despues de una sesion ,que dura aproximadamente, una hora, se sentira relajado y vitalizado y su cuerpo liberara toxinas los dias siguentes.

Ademas de la reflexologia podal doy masaje de cuello y hombros en silla basados en masaje Tuina que aprendi' en Bejjng, mientras visitaba algunos Hospitales que trabajan segun la Medicina Tradicional China.
